| Human Resources Committee Terms of Reference To consider and advise the Authority in respect of its responsibilities for the strategic management of Human Resources including: (a) all matters relating to the recruitment, retention, training, development, equal opportunities, diversity and conditions of service of police officers and civilian staff. (b) potential significant developments in policy and practice in the light of current thinking on police personnel issues, including the work of the Association of Police Authorities. (b) health and safety issues in so far as these are the responsibility of the Authority, liaising with the Chief Constable and Force as required. Delegated Powers To act on behalf of the Authority in respect of any matters within the Committee’s Terms of Reference.
