| Performance & Best Value Committee Terms of Reference To monitor the performance of the Service against national and locally agreed targets and priorities. To develop and make recommendations to the Authority to support the achievement of its objectives, including: (a) The Authority's Best Value Strategy and the procedures and plans for consultation with Bedfordshire's Communities (b) The Authority's Best Value Performance Plan as now incorporated within the Policing Plan To monitor the implementation of these Strategies and Plans, evaluate and effectively communicate them to the Bedfordshire Communities and the Authority's Partnerships To recommend to the Police Authority how individual reviews arising from the Best Value Performance Plan should be handled on behalf of the Police Authority. To consider the report of Her Majesty's Inspectorate of Constabulary and take action/make any recommendations to the Police Authority.
